- In a large saucepan, cook and stir sausage and onion in oil over medium heat until lightly browned; 5-7 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup beer to deglaze the pan; cook and stir over medium heat until beer is evaporated, about 5 minutes.
- Add the pinto beans, black beans, BBQ sauce, molasses and remaining 1/4 cup beer.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
